Foothills Food Bank

Supporting Our Neighbors

In a community known for caring and connection, the Foothills Food Bank & Resource Center continues to quietly make a tremendous impact every day.

For nearly four decades, the Food Bank has served as a lifeline for local individuals, seniors, and families facing food insecurity—providing not just food, but hope, dignity, and additional resources when they’re needed most. Today, one in five people in our community experiences food insecurity, reminding us that need exists even in places where it may not always be visible.

Their support reaches far beyond pantry shelves. Programs include fresh food distribution, student snack packs, senior support, mobile pantry services, SNAP assistance, household essentials, and additional community resources designed to help neighbors move forward.

Right now, the Food Bank is asking the community to step in and help through three important ways:

📚 Back-to-School Supply Drive (June 1–July 1)

Local students are preparing to head back to school, and the Food Bank is collecting backpacks, school supplies, paper, markers, and classroom essentials to help children start the year strong.

❤️ Donate

Monetary gifts help provide fresh foods and critical resources for local families and stretch every dollar further. Donations may also qualify for the Arizona Charitable Tax Credit.

🙌 Volunteer

From sorting food and preparing distributions to helping at events and supporting daily operations, volunteers play a direct role in serving neighbors across our area.

If you’ve been looking for a way to make a difference close to home, this is a powerful place to start.
